Jubilee's New Building on the Home Stretch
The construction work at the new Jubilee Community Church building on 4231 N. Grand is nearing 90% completion. Mark Hagemann, Jubilee’s Project Manager for the 4231 project, has estimated that the organization needs another $100,000 in funding to complete the construction work.

With the help of God’s people, including thousands of hours of labor from volunteers, the final construction cost is estimated to be under $1 million. This is $1 million less than had initially been estimated using a more conventional approach to construction.

In view of the recent progress approaching completion , Jubilee is initiating the “Home Stretch Campaign” in an effort to raise sufficient funding to complete the construction work and purchase  needed operational items for the ministry in its new building.  In addition to the remaining $100,000 needed to complete construction, Jubilee needs an estimated $150,000 for items such as a projection and sound system, tables and chairs.
Jubilee will be holding Open House events at the new facility on October 19, 20 and 21.

Second Annual Jubilee Bike Ride Enjoys Broad Participation
Over seventy bicycle riders participated in Jubilee’s second annual bike ride that was held on June 23rd, 2007, In addition to a lot of fun, fellowship and exercise, all the proceeds from the event , totaling over $4,000, went towards completion of the new Jubilee facility. The participants, both from Jubilee and also from other area churches, cycled along a portion of the Mississippi River Trail (MRT) - some on 10, 20, 35 or even 50 mile routes.

Participants and guests had the opportunity to tour the recently renovated building and enjoyed delicious ribs and hotdogs cooked by Kevin Huntsman.
